Client Experience & Sales Associate

Arizona Tanning is looking for an outgoing, reliable and customer focused individual to join our team.

We're a locally owned tanning and wellness salon in Sherwood Park, and we take a lot of pride in creating an experience that feels welcoming, knowledgeable and personal from the moment our clients walk through the door.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, takes initiative and isn't afraid to start a conversation. Someone who can provide exceptional customer service while confidently helping clients find the right products, services and memberships for their needs.

Previous sales or salon experience is an asset, but definitely not required. We're happy to teach the right person who is eager to learn.

What You'll Do

This is much more than a front desk position. You'll play an important role in both our client experience and the day to day operation of the salon.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming clients and creating a friendly, positive salon experience
• Getting to know our clients and helping them choose services that best fit their needs
• Educating clients on UV tanning, spray tanning, red light therapy, skincare products and proper salon procedures
• Confidently recommending and selling products, packages and memberships
• Working toward individual and team sales goals
• Managing appointments, client accounts and transactions
• Answering phones and assisting with client questions
• Cleaning and sanitizing tanning equipment between every client
• Maintaining exceptionally clean and organized tanning rooms and common areas
• Completing opening, closing and daily salon responsibilities
• Staying productive and taking initiative during quieter periods
• Working independently and confidently problem solving when needed

Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, beauty/wellness or sales is an asset, but what matters most to us is finding someone who is reliable, has consistent availability, enjoys working with people and is eager to learn.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Compensation & Perks

Starting at $16/hour, plus opportunities to earn additional income through sales commission and incentives, membership sales bonuses and performance based bonuses.

Availability

This is a part time position with a combination of daytime, evening (3pm to 8pm) and Saturday (10am to 4pm) shifts. We're looking for someone who can provide consistent availability and reliably commit to their scheduled shifts.
