PREP YOUR SKIN
For best results, exfoliate before your session and focus on the driest areas — elbows, knees, hands, feet and the backs of your ankles. Be sure to avoid exfoliators that contain oil, as the residue may prevent your spray tan from properly absorbing.
Avoid waxing or other spa treatments the day of your spray tan.
Your skin should be completely clean for the spray tan application. Don’t use moisturizers, perfumes, deodorant or makeup, as these can create a barrier for absorption.
Avoid wearing tight clothing and shoes, which may rub off some of the spray tan and cause uneven results. For best results, wear dark, loose-fitting clothes.
Remove all jewelry to ensure full coverage of the bronzing mist.
Before You Arrive
APPLY BARRIER CREAM
Our provided barrier cream slows down the absorbtion of the bronzer and should be liberally applied to the hands, wrists, as well as any other parts of your body that tend to get dry (elbows, knees, toes, ankles).
PRO TIP: Don’t be afraid of overapplying the barrier cream, particularly on the hands and wrists, as this is where bronzer tends to absorb the most.
Right Before Your Session
KEEP YOUR ARMS UP AND AWAY FROM YOUR BODY
This allows the bronzing mist to cover your entire body, including underneath the arms and armpit area.
PRO TIP: Keep your palms facing away from the nozzles at all times. Again, this will help prevent overabsorbtion in the areas that tend to give away a spray tan.
IMPORTANT: If you are doing a Double Dip spray tan, ensure your arms are held above waist level during the leg treatment (this will be the third treatment) so that it is only your legs getting an extra pass of bronzer.

Start by choosing between a clear or bronze solution
Express Clear
Our clear sunless solution has no tint, so you will exit the spray tan booth looking the same colour as when you stepped in. This express solution will fully develop on your skin in just 3-4 hours, and there will be no transfer of colour on your clothes or bedsheets.
Catalina Bronze
Our bronze sunless solution has a bronze tint that is immediately visible on the skin, so you will exit the spray tan booth with a bronze glow. Showering will wash this cosmetic bronzer off, revealing the tan that has been developing on your skin for 6-8 hours. Catalina’s miles of violet-hued coastal waters inspire an instant cosmetic bronzer that delivers cool brown with violet undertones for a deep, rich, island tan.
